Being fair & doing the right thing
Arizona property tax laws are some of the most complex in the nation. As your Assessor I would consider it my public fiduciary duty to communicate to the citizens I serve with explanations on any and all valuation issues. In short my knowledge is your knowledge, and I would utilize my experience to ensure fair and equitable valuations. My vision for the long-term organizational future of this office would be to utilize one of our regions greatest resources NAU, by advocating for internships that would lead to the hiring of public administrative professionals who would be trained in valuation.
